The Vamps vs Shifters and Angels vs Demons categories were pretty predictable but the remaining two categories did hold a few surprises, Joani. I really didn’t expect the anthologies to do as well as they did.

I also voted on the old system back before the voting had closed when I was still eligible to win a prize. Am I now not eligible for prizes now and do I need to vote again. Sorry not quite understanding what I need to do. I read the above comment but don’t remember seeing an email about it.

I transferred your bracket to the new system for you, Amber. Your login is your name with no space, and your password it the same but with three 1s at the end.

You should have received an email when I set you up in the new system.

I should clarify that I did the brackets with the original set up before you had to change what you were originally using.

Hi Pinky,

Brackets are the categories that the books fall into; in this case Vamps vs Shifters, Angels vs Demons, Magic vs Others, and Fae vs Anthologies.

Unfortunately the software requires a two-step process of first filling in the chart to predict one winner per category and then going back and voting for each book paring or fight separately. It seems redundant, I know, but the original software that eliminated the need to choose twice stopped working and I had to start over from scratch with new software. Hopefully people will put up with the redundancy since the prized are so good and the process is fun. :)

Thanks for posting the update. Quite often the free downloads are limited to one day only. Unfortunately the site doesn’t state the length of the free offer so it’s always better to act quickly, just in case.

Thanks, Gwen! I love to find images that match the visions in my head when I find characters that I love. It’s not always easy though, especially since so many of my favourite authors write hulking heros that are stacked with muscle and stand over 6+ feet, lol. That’s one thing that I appreciate about Laurell K. Hamilton’s characters – lots of smaller, more realistic body types to work with :)
